About Henry
My name’s Henry, I'm 25 and I’m the founder of The GT Specialist. My career has been built around one focus: delivering motorsport-level precision and quality to every customer’s car.
I started my career as an apprentice at JLR and worked my way up to Porsche, eventually training and working at Porsche Silverstone as their Manthey-accredited GT Technician — a place where attention to detail isn’t optional, it’s the standard. Porsche’s philosophy of absolute precision has shaped the way I approach every job, from routine servicing to high-performance setups.
Alongside this, I am a freelance motorsport technician and travel the UK and europe for race weekends and test days, maintaining and supporting 991 Cup cars. The fast-paced, high-pressure environment — where perfection is non-negotiable — has given me deep insight into how Porsche GT cars behave at their limits.

Our premises
The GT Specialist operates from a brand-new workshop in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. The facility has been designed from the ground up to meet the demands of Porsche servicing, GT-level performance work, and motorsport-grade accuracy, coupled with being a Porsche partner network member, every aspect of the workshop reflects our commitment to precision, quality, and customer confidence.
At the heart of the premises are two fully equipped ramps, allowing us to work efficiently on everything from routine maintenance to complex setups. Our diagnostic capabilities are powered by Porsche PIWIS tester software, ensuring your Porsche receives factory-level insight, coding, and fault investigation. The workshop is stocked with premium tooling alongside a selection of Porsche special tools, enabling us to carry out every job to exact manufacturer standards.
For geometry and chassis setup, we utilise the highly sort after Manthey Alignment tool — a method trusted throughout motorsport for its accuracy and repeatability. This allows us to deliver precise handling adjustments tailored to the way your car is driven, whether on the road or the circuit.
We also provide a dedicated customer area, offering a comfortable space to relax or work while your vehicle is being looked after. Transparency and trust are key values of The GT Specialist, so customers are always welcome to observe the process and discuss any aspect of the work being carried out.
